The main reason is the much easier setup for charging and the additional booster configuration.

I want to use the additional inverter to boost the 2000 W of the MultiPlus to 3000 W. I could have done both but this is a rather complex circuit with multiple relays (230V and 12V high current). To keep it simple I now separate both functionalities.

I now have a dongle for the MultiPlus and can program the multifunctional relay to control the booster inverter.
